0:43 - Not intern manager... Assistent to the regional Intern manager 😄
bro this is so fucking boring. I mean great video but seriously are coding interviews really like this?
no, they tend to be much harder than this, this is like the first example you study in algorithms, right after bubble sort. These types of interviews are usually only done by big companies, smaller/medium sized companies tend to ask theoretical questions
SMH Maggie hating you ARE funny bro trust great vid lol
Paying with equity, being the first one to build the stuff super early. This sounds more like someone fishing for a tech partner than someone hiring an intern. They are likely doing a kind of positive bait and switch, trying to fish out new young people that have a risk tolerant time due to not planning for income early on. The trick here is in the negotiation part, where you need to realise that you have a lot more power than you normally would in an intern position.
lol, after your changes have been approved the manager just left you with nothing even thou it is like 2 pm in the afternoon. I was there and wondering 'welp, what do I do now?"
dont worry he would not say that you copy pasted your last submitted code from leetcode
That first question contiguous array problem was asked in the coding test round but with one small twist in questions it is just about the sub for me i have to return the square of the sum if the sum is 6 then return 36 and after seeing your situation with tree i cannot stop laughing cause mine is also same when i saw the optional question of the balanced tree for the coding round 😂😂
Lmao @ all the CI checks passing 😂
Facezongoogappflix
Having PMs who are juniors who didn't even finish their coding cursus explains a lot of the mess that has become the internet and everything related ot it
Really nice vlog
It is so good to see that I'm not the only one😂
your interview made me officilly scared for my future
200 for a internship, you are the man. I am right now applying SOC job, been almost 7 months,
There's exactly 5 mins of video time when he says -'like...5 minutes'
That guy in purshe t shirt should change the people he hangout with he definitely dont want to him
that end was 2 personnl
A US Intern makes twice as much as a Senior DEV in the Balkans.. 💀
00:24 "He wants me to review his code?" Every SE has experienced this feeling once
learn to be a software developer in 2017 ... never passed any interview XD , i start my own compony with multiple projects and clients in Iran and im getting somewhere but i still cant pass any interview
Will you hire me buddy? Don't pay me much or pay me less than industry norms but I hire me. I have good understanding in python and just require training. I hope you find my message and we can have a talk. Thankyou.
@@AmbrishIsCool Most of my team speaks Farsi, and I'm not sure if you can connect with them directly. also market in Iran is not like other places average salary in Theran or Isfahan is not more than 5k per year
@@mohammadpakravan9516 if the government catches you commenting on youtube videos, do they kill you and your whole family?
I am definitely cooked.
Lol did bro just delete the tests?😂😂
"it's intern season" bee movie script lol
import { snap } from thanos lol. That's a fun package!
Frequency arrays left the chat
I wish companies didn't expect interns to fill in a senior engineer
I’m so sad right now. Bombed my CS midterm with 33%. Where do I go from here? I ask myself 😔
There is a bug in your solution at 3:37 int max = Integer.MIN_VALUE aka -2147483648 localMax = Math.max(nums[i], nums[i] + localMax); nums[0] is equal to -2 nums[i] + localMax = -2147483648 + (-2) = OVERFLOW = 2147483646 So your code would return number, close to max int, rather than answer
🌦️ 🧙
Nah momentum is better than propulsion. You need to be propelling constantly to have a momentum.
No comments. Why would anyone even do such a crime?
I have no idea how to code. The video was good i guess. Why am I here. I'll go back to school in order to understand this video
I mostly love the part when he asked you to optimize to O(N) and you didn't see this solution before This is when the real challenge begins. Because you can't anymore just copy-paste a ready solution from your head to the code editor This is where we get these "hmmm... Well.... We can .... Hm... I guess...". It's so hard to think in an interview environment
the indian guy 😂 😂
"FaceZonGoogAppFlix"
"Speaking Intern " --- All can relate ig🤣
I like how when he says there is five minutes until his interview, there is exactly five minutes until the video ends.
It happened to me. 7 years React Native dev. Then, the interview problem was render a list from an api - easy - and a button to add an item into the list. But, the button and the form were a child element. I just needed to pass the fuc*ng function to add the item as a parameter in the child element. But idk what happened, i got confused and messed up. I had 10 min to do this. I lost this opportunity and that really broke me.
dang, that doesn't sound too hard. the difficult part would be to understand which way do they use reactive native, is it function based or class based and not getting the multiple ways to solve this confused..
How do I apply to work at FacezonGoogAppFlix?
you write your resume in machine code and send it to the internet gods
P.S. The second solution doesn't work (sorting the array) as the indices would change.
Screw that! Too much red tape. I am a Lead Software Engineer, well the only Software Engineer at my company, so no red tape. I DO WHAT I WANT. My boss is literally the purchasing manager who knows nothing about software.
Back in the days , I couldn't understand a single word but now that I have done all the algoritms and data structures it is so clear rn

We’ve heard of “intern” and “intern manager” yes, but what about “EXECUTIVE intern”
Random question, are you visiting Seattle rn?
me after one python course: "yes. yes the words in this skit sound like something i could laugh at in the future. so ill just laugh now."
take an algorithms course and you'll get it, not that hard
So between my original comment i have taken a deep diver into game development through the Godot engine. GD script being based on python has made it SO fun to learn. My skill as a programmer has gone up 10x this month. and on top of that learning texture design, 3D modeling and animation, systems thinking, and short and long term project planning?? I have had an amazing month! May you be blessed in your endeavors brother.
"ugh, recursion" is sooo relatable
